Supported by the HKBU Knowledge Transfer Office, we established Mat-A-Cell Limited in  2017 as an HKBU spin-off company to develop bionanotechnical products to improve the  quality of human life. Throughout the years, HKBU R&D Licensing Limited’s one-stop  commercialization solutions helped us accomplish great achievements and awards on the global  stage.

The future of higher education and all industries depend on innovation,  strategically shaping the R&Ds in order to cultivate new applications, enhance creativity, encourage collaboration, and promote inclusion and diversity so that we can stay sustainable in a globally unpredictable environment.

Herbap Biotech Limited was founded in 2019 by two local Hongkongers who are passionate in scientific research, phytomedicinal studies and knowledge products. We are committed to produce and deliver scientific processes on phytocompounds and herbal products with young minds and advanced technologies.

Our Gihon Biotech Limited has developed a great partnership with HKBURDL. With their help, we were able to commercialize the IPR and start our company.  We want to express our gratitude on their continued support and cooperation in this regard.

HKBURDL creates several key initiatives for the benefit of the Hong Kong Community. Alfred persuades BU Faculty Members to register IP of the research achievement which is a proven success. We wish Alfred and team members achieve another level of height in the coming future.

Mr. SIU Ming Hung, Mark, is the Chief Executive Officer and established ETG in 2007, responsible for the company's overall strategic planning and implementation of business development, operational objective, brand management. As the pioneer in the retail security industry, ETG introduced open merchandising solution to retail market of Hong Kong and have provided one stop smart retail and security solutions to over 1,000 retail shops in 2009. Through big data statistics analysis, ETG has provided 3D people counting solution to West Kowloon Cultural District for enhancing their operational efficiency and profitability. In addition, ETG has fought the epidemic together with Electrical and Mechanical Services Department by providing them innovative occupancy control solution to over 20 Marriage Registries and Smart Identity Card Replacement Centers so as to monitor live occupancy level and maintain safe social distance.
