Professor Cheung Siu Yin

Professor Cheung Siu Yin, MH is an expert in sport and has over 28 years of research and community outreach experience. Aside from her position as a Professor in the Department of Sport, Physical Education, and Health at Hong Kong Baptist University, she also serves on international committees, the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), and non-profit agencies and organizations.

With a portfolio of over ten initiatives that funding was granted from different sources, Prof. Cheung's latest initiative, "CROSS Fitness 2.0 – A Community-Based Reintegrated Project for Young Adult with Drug Abuse" was awarded the Beat Drugs Fund of the HKSAR. This initiative seeks to encourage drug abusers to live a healthy lifestyle and increase their willingness to quit drugs or stay drug-free by involving them in a series of activities that incorporate athletic elements.


Professor Cheung received a master’s and a doctoral degree in Physical Education, specialising in Sport Psychology, from Springfield College in the United States.
