The School of Chinese Medicine (SCM), the Faculty of Social Sciences (SOSC) and the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) jointly showcased nine innovative technologies to highlight the research impact of the University at the InnoCarnival 2021, which was held by the Innovation and Technology Commission at the Hong Kong Science Park from 23 to 31 October and attracted over 220,000 visitors.

The 10th edition of TechInnovation 2021 has been successfully hosted by Innovation Partner for Impact (IPI) as a fully digital 24-hour event from 28 to 30 September 2021. HKBU selected to operate flagship Chinese Medicine Hospital

HKBU was selected by the Government as the contractor for the service deed of Hong Kong’s first Chinese Medicine Hospital (CMH) which will be located in Tseung Kwan O. Its construction is expected to complete in 2025 with service to commence in the second quarter of the year. HKBU will proactively take forward the planning and preparatory works related to the commencement of service of the CMH immediately in accordance with the service deed, and in line with the Government’s efforts to promote the development of Chinese medicine.
